Máté Nemes joined Mastercard in 2016 as a Business Analyst and later specialized in fraud prevention. Since 2020, Mate has been responsible for developing Mastercard's cybersecurity and fraud prevention services across the Hungarian and later on the Slovenian, Czech, and Slovak markets. During the technical preparations for PSD2, Máté led the implementation of two-factor authentication in the region, significantly reducing online fraud. As Director of Security Solutions Commercialization, Máté supports financial institutions in combating fraud and helps enterprises strengthen their resilience against cyberattacks through Mastercard's cybersecurity solutions.
